Ready To Purchase Some CBD? 4 Things To Check

If you are getting ready to purchase some CBD, there are a few things you need to check before you purchase a CBD product. As when buying any product for medical purposes, you need to make sure you know what you are purchasing.

Thing #1: Read the Ingredient List

Before you purchase a CBD product, take your time to read the ingredient list, especially if you are buying a product such as oils. You want to make sure that no harmful ingredients are included in the CBD products you want to purchase. You want to avoid oils that contain vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol. When looking at CBD edibles, you are going to want to avoid edibles that include artificial colors and flavors.

When you are using a natural product to help with your medical needs, you want to make sure the entire product is natural and good for your body, not just one part of it. Take the time to read the ingredient list, just like you would with food.

Thing #2: Check the THC Level

Second, you are going to want to check the THC levels. When you are purchasing a CBD product, there should not be any THC in the product, or there should be a level so low that it is not detectable.

If you are purchasing products from a dispensary, there are some products that contain both THC & CBD, so make sure you know what you are purchasing. If you are purchasing a product that is only supposed to contain CBD, by federal law, it cannot contain more than 0.3% THC.

Thing #3: Check the CBD Level

Third, you need to check the amount of CBD in the product. Many states regulate the level of CBD in various types of products. However, the strength of the CDB can vary depending on how much is in that product.

One edible may give you 4 grams of CBD per serving and another may give you 10 grams of CBD per serving. This information should be clearly labeled on the container; however, it is up to you to make sure you know the different dosage amounts of the products you are interested in purchasing.

Thing #4: Check the Lab Report

Finally, when you purchase a CBD product from a dispensary, it will come with a lab report. This lab report will show the date that it was published, and a more recent date makes the report more reliable.

The lab report will also tell how much CBD the lab found in the product. The report will let you know if any microbial contaminants were found in the product, and if the product received a pass. All approved labs will have the ISO, or International Organization for Standardization, on the lab report.

When purchasing a CBD product, you want to make sure you know exactly what is in the product and what you are looking for. That way, when you make a purchase, you know exactly what you are getting
